How do we price a stump grinding job?

When calling in for an estimate we can use the following guidelines to arrive at an approximate estimate of the size of the stump. However, for a complete estimate we need to inspect the site in person to take into account additional factors such as underground utilities, irrigation, and additional obstacles.

The illustrations to the left shows how to properly measure a stump, which is to measure at the widest point of the base at ground level, not the top of the stump.
